Founded in 2018 by two sneaker enthusiasts, Wethenew has quickly established itself as France's leading platform for buying and selling sneakers. Their online store offers a vast range, from the latest trends to classics. All sneakers are brand new and verified to guarantee authenticity through a rigorous authentication system.
Challenge.
Wethenew faced a major challenge: despite the abundance of video content available to them, from a variety of sources such as product reviews, user-generated content on social networks and their own online media, they didn't know how to use it effectively. Their initial attempt to exploit this content proved unsuccessful, leaving a crucial need to find a solution to this problem. What's more, the lack of visual reassurance was an additional challenge to overcome.
Solutions.

Results.
Following an A/B test to evaluate the impact of Web Stories on product sheets, Wethenew obtained promising results. Pages incorporating Web Stories recorded a significant increase in cart additions, conversion and a reduction in bounce rate. These results have prompted Wethenew to extend the use of Web Stories to all its product sheets, reinforcing customer reassurance and conversion optimization.
